Queen Mary ranked in the top 20 best unis for research quality

We ranked 19th

Queen Mary has been ranked in the top 50 universities in the UK, according to the Sunday Times’ Good University Guide released yesterday.

We placed 40th overall, dropping six places from the 2016 results.

Queen Mary was praised for its research quality, ranking in the top 20 nationwide at 19th place, and graduate prospects placing 31st.

The Sunday Times’ Good University Guide takes into consideration student satisfaction, entry standards, research quality and staff to student ratios when calculating the rankings.

This year, Queen Mary beat Aberdeen, Swansea and Cardiff to a higher position.

The top spots went to Cambridge, Oxford and St. Andrews.
