The majority of Oxford voted to remain in the EU

Only 30 per cent wanted to leave


In the recent EU referendum, the majority of Oxford wanted to stay.

70.27 per cent of the population who voted were remain, while only 29.73 voted leave.

Oxford was the 14th city with the highest population of people voting to remain, coming just behind East Dunbartonshire and Southwark.

The most pro-EU place in the entire country wasn’t actually in the country, with 95 per cent of Gibraltar voting to Remain in the EU.
