Wahoo DJ to become honorary member of Oxford University

He’ll have full access to St. Peter’s JCR facilities

Wahoo Friday favourite, DJ Ollie East will be awarded an honorary membership to the St. Peter’s JCR in a “ceremony” at Plush tonight.

Due to SPC’s loyal attendance on top floor Wahoo, Ollie East is being awarded membership for his contribution to St. Peter’s university life.

Third year St.Peter’s Richard McIntosh, Ollie’s proposer, said: “It’s the DJ from Wahoo top floor (bit of a stocky guy). He makes our Friday night, need I say more? Ollie East is a local boy. Responsible for most fun we have in Oxford.” In a vote on Monday evening, the motion was almost unanimously passed by the college.

Through being an honorary member of St. Peter’s College, Ollie will not only be able to vote on college issues, but also have full access to JCR Facilities.

In fact, there have been rumours that the DJ may appear in an upcoming St.Peter’s bop, but nothing can yet be confirmed.

At the ceremony, he will also be awarded with a variety of St.Peter’s stash by the JCR President, Anna Harris.
