Disaster: We’re not the most employable students in the country

But don’t worry guys we’re gonna be rich

Oxford might be number one in the league tables, but apparently we’re not the most sought after graduates in Britain.

Shockingly, a High Fliers survey – which lists which universities the UK’s top employers target – says we’re fifth.

That puts us behind Madchester, Nottingham, Warwick and Cambridge.

This will likely come as a blow to most Oxford students, who have a burning desire to come top of every list.

The news isn’t all bad though: we’re going to earn way more than the others.

Emolument Alumni says that the average graduate salary of an Oxford student is £54,000: a small fortune compared to Warwick’s pitiful £42,500 and Nottingham’s £40k, and the second highest in the country (after the pesky London Business School, which doesn’t really count).

So although Manchester can brag all they want about how much they’re wanted, we can rest satisfied that we’re going to be so much richer than them.
