VIDEO: Backstage and Birds of Paradise Show: Oxford Fashion Week A/W14

We went backstage to cover prep for the incredible headlining show

The black-tie headlining runway show of Oxford Fashion Week 2014, curated over six months by Hannah Zainuddin, a biology student at St Catz, was a whirlwind of feathers, chiffon and opulence.

Under the stunning glorious gothic iron arches of the Natural History Museum guests were greeted by cabinets full of taxidermy of exotic and extinct specimens and their insides in formaldehyde and witnessed models manoeuvre between dinosaur skeletons.

The show featured carefully selected conceptual and couture pieces from extraordinary designers including Hellavagirl, Xiaolin Design, Vagabond Couture, Korlekie, Anne van den Boogaard, Grace Golding, Laura Stoeckl and more.

Once again we infiltrated the prep backstage to reveal how models were transformed from ordinary girls to birds of paradise.
