Xavier Dolan’s “I Killed My Mother”

Another Gaze Film Club presents Xavier Dolan’s semi-autobiographical directing debut. Charting one gay kid’s trek through teenage-hood and his love/hate relationship with his kitschy mother, Dolan explores drugs, art and friendship through an adolescent’s eyes.

Drama Cuppers 2014

They’re fresh-faced and probably still remember the lines to that one time they played Hamlet in lower sixth. However, amid the many, many duds there should be the odd decent cuppers play. Tickets are only £1 anyway so there won’t be too much buyer’s remorse.

The Oxford Revue presents a night of brand new comedy. Unlike your bread-and-butter Audrey, just like cuppers this is only for first-timers. Expect gags akimbo.

If the official closing-night Rave 2 the Grave doesn’t tickle your towny fancy, Young Ones present an all-girl night of good sound systems and easily penetrable smoking areas. Come down to celebrate Carbon’s demise in style.
