Known more for his dulcet tones than DJing skills, Foals lead singer Yannis Philllippakis returns to his alma mater for a set in Modern Art Oxford’s basement. Guests include live drum troupe ODC Drumline and disco-collective Big Tropics.

Timberlake Wertenbaker’s tale of the first British convicts and officers to dock at Botany Bay in 1789 opens at the O’Reilly. A young officer suggests the convicts put on a play to relieve tension and homesickness. A classic underdog story.
