Major Stories we missed over the Vac: Courtesy of the Cherwell

The non-news round up from the vac

At the Tab, we don’t always get things right. Like everyone, we sometimes make mistakes, and sometimes we miss stories too – we’ll be the first to admit it. Luckily for us, we have our rival newspapers to pick up the slack.

Here are the stories that we were too timid, or just too hungover to bring you, shamelessly plagiarised from the Cherwell:

5.

“Student concern” that Magdalen’s temporary library isn’t stylish enough.

Top Quote: “I feel they could have done better”

Those colours don’t go together AT ALL!

4.

Confusion as derelict site is built on.

Fun Fact: The car-park will have OVER 800 SPACES. Thanks Cherwell!

No way! 800 spaces?

3.

Libraries were in vogue this vac apparently: Exeter library shut over the weekend.

“I just really like…. books.”

2.

Horror: pothole found in road.

This is literally what Worcester college looks like now.

And our personal favourite:

1.

Some ducks getting lost (no seriously, this is an actual article).

It turns out this is a picture that someone actually made.

It’s good to know that even when stories slip through our finely woven nets, there are those who will catch them.
