Can’t get enough of the Trup

Louis Trup aka LJ Trup aka ‘LJT4ousu4change‘ is a 3rd year Geographer at Brasenose. In his spare time he enjoys going to Park End, ballroom dancing and winning presidential elections.

Having shot to fame in what only can be described as the greatest OUSU victory of all time, LJ Trup goes from strength to strength in agreeing to give the Tab an insight into his tunes of choice.

Louis says: “2pac speaks truth. A brilliantly made song and one that can get you through tough times. Also, Elton John is honorary life chairman at Watford FC, so that’s important.”

Benga ft Coki – Night

Louis says: “Arguably underpins the genre of dubstep of which I am a fan. Soundtrack to many of my nights as a wee nutter.”

He Lives in You – Lion King 2 Soundtrack

Louis says: “It’s an absolute banger from a film which has an amazing soundtrack. Also, the bit when it says ‘have faith’ is cracking.”

Fleetwood Mac – Dreams

Louis says: “One of my favourite songs from what may be the best album of all time (Rumours). This song also accompanied a beautiful moment in Copenhagen on the Human Geography field trip earlier this year #GeoggersCrew”

Dire Straits – Sultans of Swing

Louis says: “When I’m having a tough day, I crack out a Fanta, lie on the floor, blast this song out, sing along, and all is well.”

Lightning Seeds – Three Lions
