BEN SULLIVAN unopposed to be Union president

Current Librarian to be President in Trinity term

| UPDATED exclusive

Ben Sullivan will run unopposed to be Trinity term’s Union President.

Nominations closed today and The Tab understands from sources placed high in the Union that he was the only candidate put forward for the top role.

With elections to take place on Friday of 7th week, this means that there is no way he can’t win.

The other key positions will be hotly contested.  We understand Charles Malton (Christ Chuch) will clash with Roberto Weeden-Sanz (St Benet’s Hall) to be Treasurer, whilst Kostas Chryssanthopoulos (St Peter’s) will fight it out with Ben Allen (St Benet’s Hall) for Librarian.

We will have more to follow once the nominations are formally announced within the hour.

Sullivan, of Christ Church, was unavailable for comment.
