Congratulations are in order for library lovers Magdalen who’ve statistically churned out the cleverest grads since 2008. Pity poor old Harris Manchester who win the ‘Brookes Award’ for poorest academic performance by quite some distance.

The Magdalen cohort of 2010 have been proven the cleverest college year group of the last five years. More than half of them got firsts and their collective achievement is one that has stood the test of time.

All the places in the top 10 were shared between just four colleges showing both brains and consistency.

It’s not hard to see why Harris Manchester came out as the worst college overall. All three of the worst Norrington performances were by the hapless no-hopers.

Feel sorry also for the LMH grads of 2008 – five of them got thirds and another 13 took home a Desmond.

The 10 worst scores were also shared between four colleges with Hilda’s, LMH, Mansfield and Teddy Hall all dominating the lower echelons of the collegiate system.
