Best Dressed: Freerange @ The Cellar

We went along to Freerange at the Cellar this week to survey the talent – get ready for the ‘funk and grime’.

 #1

‘Heritage’, Hugh’s

Heritage takes ‘hopeless eccentric’ to a whole new level as he proves that he is party on the outside, party on the inside with this crazy number. He reveals a loud patchwork top beneath his glamourpuss jacket – but don’t be fooled – though you won’t find real fur here there is still plenty of animal.

#2

Will Dabell and Savannah Devillez, Brookes

Will ‘I’ve been rolling my sleeves for three years’ Dabell is famous at Brookes for ‘being chill’ and making sure there is ‘no seriousness’ when it comes to fashion.

He and Savannah are ostensibly major advocates of ‘the hat’. As the duo always say: “You can’t go wrong if you’re wearing denim and have your top button done up because everyone else will be doing that too!”

#3

Tope, Oxford local

Tope, like the honey badger, essentially ‘does [his] own thing’. This badboy-jock look is made by Tope’s colour coordination, and we hope you’ve noticed the leopard print detailing on the shoes, like Tope’s gaze it almost evades you.

#4

Names unknown, Oxford sixth formers

These girls refused to be identified, probably because they were out past their bedtime. Their outfits are claimed to ring in at under a tenner, and we were impressed with these pocket-money purchased patterns and prints.

#5

Will Railton, Hugh’s

Will claims to work for the ‘Cherwell’. Perhaps why this faux-leather presque-trench coat screams incognito. Too bad that coy smile betrays his latent pleasure to be snapped up for Tab Fashion.

Catch the next Freerange event at the Cellar in a couple of weeks.
