What: The Edgar Wind Society is launching Hilary’s journal on the ‘Sublime’. Expect Ruskin art, Supermarket and Action Stations DJs, and general revelry until late.

OxFem House Party

What: Celebrate International Women’s Day with an evening of exotic performances! There will be a showing of Lashings of Ginger Beer: A Feminist Burlesque, a recital from SOUP – Oxford’s finest Ukelele band, Acapella from The Oxford Belles, and a whole lot more.

When: Thursday 7th March; 8pm-1am

Where: Oxford Hub, 16-17 Turl Street

How much: £3 with a flyer/before 9, £4 later (all proceeds go to Oxfam’s campaigns in support of women)

ISIS Launch Party

What: After the success of their ’60s party a few weeks back, ISIS are bringing you the best Funk and Soul to get you moving and shaking. Garfunkel, Oxford’s hottest funk band, will be playing live at 11pm.

Dancin’ Oxford Festival

What: Oxford is getting on its feet this week with a city-wide dance festival. There will be free outdoor performances, Hip Hop and Bhangra workshops, a talk from renowed choreographer Richard Alston, and much more.

Kino Club at MAO
