The votes have been counted and today The Tab can reveal the worst Oxonian of all time.
Harry HodgesIt’s the debate that’s rocked JCRs, college bars and everywhere in between and now The Tab can exclusively reveal that you, the students, have voted Rupert Murdoch the worst EVER alumnus from over 900 years of history.
The all-important results
Rupert romped home with a 32% share of the 1,161 votes cast since the poll went live last Wednesday as a result of the recent blunderings perpetrated by News International.
And it’s bad news all round for the dead tree press.
Isaac Delestre, former editor of the OxStu, came second after a spirited campaign that spanned facebook, twitter and even the paper itself.
Rounding out the podium was Margaret Thatcher, the Iron Lady in this instance having to settle for a bronze medal despite her lengthy services to rearing questionable progeny, snatching things from kids and bullying people out of work.
