Cuppers Quarter Final Draw Made

Plenty of potential shocks as football Cuppers moves into the last 8.

| UPDATED Cuppers Football

The quarter-final draw for football Cuppers has been made, throwing up a number of interesting ties for fans of the college game.

With only three Premier League sides left in the competition there is plenty of potential for shocks and lower league Cuppers glory.

Amongst the sides looking for an upset are Teddy Hall who travel to third in the Premier League Lincoln in what promises to be an exciting affair.

Having triumphed in a nine goal thriller versus Queen’s in the last round Charlie Bryant’s third tier Christ Church side will fancy their chances at home to a Wadham side who are struggling in the top division.

Trinity are another Second Division side hoping home advantage will see them through, but they face a stern test in the form of holders Worcester who will be keen to retain their trophy in style.

Elsewhere, First Division goal machines New face a tricky trip to Pembroke’s ground, never a pleasant prospect given its bleak isolation over the railway tracks. The Second Division side will hope this psychological advantage might give them the edge over the First Division leaders.
