Emergency services called to huge house fire on Harrington Drive in Lenton

It is believed that no one was injured


Emergency services were called to a huge house fire last night on Harrington Drive in the Nottingham student area of Lenton.

Two fire engines and three police cars attended the fire that broke out  at around 5:30pm on Thursday 8th December.

The house was alight for about an hour before fire fighters were able to put the fire out.

It is believed that no one was inside the property at the time the fire started and no one was injured.

Witnesses recall seeing the glass window of the top floor front room of the house where the fire was located fall out on to the pavement below.

It is unclear at this time whether the property is a student house.
