Nottingham Trent opens new £9m enterprise centre on City campus

The new home for Enterprise at Nottingham Trent University


Nottingham Trent University have opened new Dryden Enterprise Centre on their City campus which provides high-quality facilities and substantial support to their students, entrepreneurs, and small to medium-sized businesses.

The four-story hub offers open-plan working spaces, private offices, meeting rooms and event space, 24 hours a day. They provide a range of membership packages that ensure you have the tools and network necessary to grow your business.

It has been reported that until March 2022, the Dryden Enterprise Centre will be partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

Michael Carr, Executive Dean of Enterprise at Nottingham Trent University, said: “After three years in the making, I am very excited that Nottingham Trent is opening the doors on our new Dryden Enterprise Centre.

“The work of the centre will build on our success in creating and supporting enterprises to grow, utilising a purpose-built building and state of the art facilities. We look forward to welcoming a range of co-locatees as we open and then see this develop into a flourishing enterprise community over the next couple of years.”

NTU have said: ‘NTU is creating a dynamic and exciting community for both entrepreneurs and small growing businesses to collaborate with University enterprise and research.

‘The centre will offer high quality co-location for regional entrepreneurs and SMEs who are seeking to benefit from a relationship with the University. Members of the centre will gain access to a comprehensive suite of business support programmes. Those at start up stage will benefit from the centre as the new home for NTUs enterprise support. Together with our enterprise community, we hope to create a collaborative, connected centre that benefits all members to innovate and grow their enterprising businesses.’
