Breaking: Nottingham University student dies suddenly on campus
Three ambulances attended the scene
It has just been announced that a University of Nottingham student has tragically died on campus.
According to reports, Nottinghamshire Police arrived on University Park Campus, just off Derby Road, at 12:40pm on Thursday.
A spokeswoman has stated that "the university has been made aware of the sudden death of one of our students.
"We are of course deeply saddened and offering our support to those affected."
Three ambulances attended the scene.
A spokeswoman from the East Midlands Ambulance Service clarified that "we sent a paramedic in an ambulance car, a crewed ambulance and a doctor in a car."
The university is deeply saddened by the situation.
The circumstances surrounding the event are yet to be revealed.
