Nottingham is the 11th most employable uni in the UK

Everyone wants to give us jobs

The University of Nottingham has been ranked 11th in the UK and 78th in the world for employability prospects, according to a survey by the Times Higher Education.

We beat out other Russell Group universities, such as Birmingham

The rankings are based on a survey which asked recruiters from 21 countries to give their opinions about the ideal attributes of graduates, and to select which institutions they think produce the best recruits.

Only 12 UK universities made it on to the list of the top 150 institutions.

Employability has always been one of Notts’ strong suits and biggest selling points – having been ranked as first and second for job prospects in the UK on previous occasions.

This new global ranking cements Nottingham’s place as an employability big leaguer, having beaten out American hard-hitters Georgetown, Northwestern and USC in the same list.

The list was predictably topped by Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge, as per usual.
