Campus style: Union stash

Baggy T-shirts and garish colours

It’s the time of year when the Union elections have taken over our lectures, our library and even our own homes.

And in these two weeks of promotions, loyal followers wear their candidates’ stash. We went on the hunt to see who wore it best.

Rhiannon White, 2nd Year, English

While yellow is often a difficult colour to wear, Rhiannon shows by layering it with a clashing pattern top, you can tone down the brightness, while still looking colourful.

Charlotte Garner, 3rd Year, English

We love the ripped jeans with this tie-dye candidate top, it gives off a laid-back surfer vibe.

Ashley Bell, 3rd Year, History

Ashley’s all-black outfit makes his purple t-shirt stand out while also smartening up the casual shape of the top.

Rosamund Llewelyn, 2nd Year, History

We love the design of this candidate’s top and by wearing it with jeans and knee high boots, Rosamund incorporates it into her overall outfit perfectly.

Jordon Perrin, 3rd Year, Computer Science

By layering his tee with a hoodie, Jordon makes his candidate’s stash into outwear and adds a laid back vibe with his snap back and trainers.

Abby Larvin, 2nd Year, Economics

We love Abby’s sport luxe jacket, it’s bang on trend and tones down the garish colour of orange.

Lex Thomson, 3rd Year, Psychology

Ripped jeans are a trend here to stay and Lex battles the baggy shape of her t-shirt by tucking it into her high waisted jeans.

Ruth Selvadurai, 3rd Year, Sociology

You can’t beat a good wax jacket and pairing it with skinny jeans and trainers, it makes the staple campus outfit.
