Police are appealing for information after a scarf-covered slimeball robbed ZebraLets on Ilkeston road.

He stole £1300 after waving a knife in the face of a frightened sales assistant.

Notts Police have described him as 5 ft 10″ tall, slim – medium build, his face partially covered with a scarf and wearing dark clothing and red gloves.

He raided the student letting agency on the evening of Feb 17th and was last seen legging it away from the shop down Ilkeston road, towards Norton Street.

PIO Russell Oliver, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The shop is situated on Ilkeston Road, which at this time is very busy with pedestrians making their way home.

“We are appealing for anyone that saw anything suspicious around this time, anyone loitering nearby or running away from the crime scene to contact us.
