London Grammar awarded for alumni achievements

Notts alumni London Grammar are set to be honoured by the University for their achievements in music. 

Since 2007, the Alumni Laureate Awards have hailed Notts grads from decorated RAF pilots to wildlife conservationists for their post unay acheivements.

The electro-pop trio have been nominated to join a list of esteemed ex- Nottingham students under the category of Recent Graduate.

Hannah and Dan met in Ancaster hall with third member Dot joining a year later. Since then, Grammar have won an Ivor Novello Award for their single Strong and sold over 350,000 copies of debut album If You Wait.

London Grammar will be joined by other nominees for the ALAs such as Anna Kent a midwife who volunteers in disaster zones.
