Campus Style goes to Sainsbury’s, Lenton

This week, Campus Style hit Sainsbury’s to check out Lenton’s best dressed shoppers

If excessive partying doesn’t feature in your post-exam-week celebrations, you’re probably doing it wrong.

And here at the University of Nottingham, we don’t do things wrong. This was proven yet again by the students in the Sainsbury’s on Derby Road. With second and third-years equipping themselves for pre-drink’s and reloading their stock of hangover-cure food, the Sainsbury’s in Lenton paints a pretty accurate picture of student life after dark.

This week Campus Style hit the social supermarket once again to capture some stylish shoppers.

Were you spotted?

Apt for a night out on the town, Kam teams his navy blazer with some slim cut indigo jeans and loud Topman loafers. He adds in a scarf for practicality and a small silver chain to accessorise it all.

Kam Harris, 3rd year Music Technology student, Topman shoes

Sarah told us her coat was a favourite amongst many people, and it’s also a favourite of ours. We love the fact that it stands out beyond her total black outfit.

Sarah Lainchbury, 2nd year English student, Debenhams coat

Joseph works the oversized look well here. Matching up his vintage leather jacket with a green checkered shirt and desert boots, he achieves a cool casual look more than appropriate for a quick trip to Sainsbury’s.

Joseph Reed, 3rd year Politics and Economics student, Vintage coat

Grace goes vintage from head to toe in her unique outfit. We love how she threw this outfit together and yet looks great rocking her personal style.

Grace Burchell, 2nd year Geography student, Trainers from Office

Mikey keeps it simple with his denim jacket, jeans and desert boots. He injects a spot of colour with his basic Tee to complete his look.

Mikey Hughes, 2nd year Primary Education student, Topman jacket

Katherine Mackenzie, Stem-cell Technology masters student, handmade scarf

Alex keeps things casual in his Pour Les Garcon sweatshirt. He teams it up with his black Ralph Lauren coat and jeans. The outfit’s smartened up a tad with the brown desert boots from Office.

Alex Hodgkins, 2nd year History student, Office shoes

White jeans are not something common but we were excited to see Freya wearing them perfectly. Her oversized coat compliments the rest of the monochrome look.

Freya Lama, 2nd year Neuroscience student, Topshop jeans

Sholan finds the right balance between practicality and style. He layers up his River Island coat with a hoodie and plain white Tee. The outfit is finished off with weather appropriate military style boots.

Sholan Pillau, 3rd year Chemical Engineering student, River Island coat

We love how Millie’s Dr Marten’s clash with her school-girl look, giving it that vintage edge her outfit needed.

Millie Frost, 3rd year Physics student, Zara Coat
