Campus Style Goes To Sainsbury’s Derby Rd

Campus Style heads to Sainsbury’s Local to spot those who even do their grocery shopping in style!

From stocks of cheap vodka that’ll render you drunk enough to strip in the Crisis photobooth, to reasonably priced painkillers which ease the morning’s pain, Sainsbury’s Local on Derby Road has it all. It isn’t any wonder then that it attracts such a wide variety of students.

Wherever there are students, we aren’t far behind, on the search for the most stylish of the lot.

This week The Tab took a trip to Sainsbury’s local to catch some stylish shoppers.

Were you spotted?

Lawrence achieves a campus appropriate outfit in these Adidas gazelles and Ark jacket. He teams the Herringbone jacket with some light wash jeans and a holdall big enough to house all his uni essentials.

Amy could easily be shopping on Oxford street rather than good ol’ Sainsbury’s in this fab outfit. The fur addition and classic handbag are what give this look that elegant edge it needed.

You can’t really go wrong with a shirt and jeans combo – Chris shows us just that. He pairs up his slouch fit Ralph Lauren checked shirt with some light wash jeans and casual Nike trainers, opting for another layer in the form of a black Tee to protect against the cold.

Double take! Naomi makes our Campus Style article again, this time in a more casual outfit, but still keeping her signature edgy look we love. She pulls off the double animal print, and owns it!

Naomi Green, 1st Year English, eBay Jacket

When we saw these guys, we knew we had to get a shot of them. The fancy dress duo perfectly  combine humour and style into their outfits. Mim’s tailor made tweed blazer was a firm favourite of ours, we weren’t so sure about the grey locks however.

James Smith, 3rd Year Archeology, Primark Hat

A stylish and warm scarf can make your whole outfit, just as Rachel’s orange and green plaid scarf did for her. The rest of the look is toned down, letting her scarf shine.

In head to toe slouch fit, this trendy outfit provides much in the way of comfort. Will teams up his American Apparel denim jacket with some indigo jeans and a vintage shirt. He tops the outfit off with a backwards cap and some grey suede Puma  trainers for that quick trip to Sainsbury’s.
