Alunageorge @ Stealth Vs Rescued on Saturday 17th November
The London two-piece played to a packed Room Two in Stealth Vs Rescued. Aluna and George (plus drummer and bassist) played their small selection of songs in faultless fashion.
Aluna’s vocals were as stunning as her and the musicality of the performance was impressive. Playing all of their own tracks, including ‘Your Drums, Your Love’, the audience seemed to already know the words. This is definitely a duo you’ll be hearing more from.
The midway point of the set was marked by an Aluna-fied version of Montell Jordan’s ‘This Is How We Do It’. This was the most perfect cover for the pair, and The Tab hopes it will make an appearance on their first album.
Stealth Vs Rescued throws up all kinds of musical gems, and Room Two has been host to Hot Chip, Alt-J, Metronomy, La Roux, Lilly Allen, Example, Fenech-Soler, and plenty of others in the past, so head down on a Saturday!
