1) Wind Orchestra Concert @ The Great Hall

Wind Orchestra are performing their ‘Odysseys” inspired programme this weekend in The Great Hall. Conducted by Kieran O’Riordan, the founding father of the cheekily named Blowsoc, Wind Orchestra is one of the shining jewels in UoNs musical crown. This concert will also feature alumni Elizabeth Charlesworth’s new work “Song for the Open Road”.

3) Club Co launch @ Pandoras Box

If you haven’t heard already this week sees the official launch of Nottingham’s Club Co! With a Skyfall theme and MiC’s Spencer Matthews in attendance, it is going to be an exciting night. The Tab hopes the bar men have been brushing up on their martini making skills, we’ll have ours shaken not stirred of course…

4) A Midsummer Night’s Dream @ Lakeside Arts Centre

Monday & Tuesday, 7.30pm, £12

Shakespeare’s classic reinterpreted and set in the trench of the home front. An interesting take on the play from a Welsh company attempting to give it a distinctly British feel. Will it work? Who knows, but it’ll certainly be interesting.

5) Viva Voce Choir @ St Peter’s Church
