A UEA third year, Nick Sadler, has been missing since 2am on Friday

Nick Sadler, a third year Film and Television student at the University of East Anglia, has gone missing.

According to Norfolk Police he was last seen on Thursday 7th February 2019 in his home. However, friends have set up a Facebook group "Help Find Nick" which states he was in fact last seen at 2am on Friday 8th February.

According to Norfolk Police Missing Persons webpage Nick "is described as white, 5ft 8 inches tall, medium build with dark brown hair, wearing glasses, he has stubble and he speaks with a Norfolk accent."

Norfolk Police said: "Anybody who has seen Nick or knows of his current whereabouts should contact Norfolk Police immediately on 101 quoting CAD 22 of Sunday 10 February 2019."

According to a Facebook video posted by his friends there was a search party today from The UEA Square starting at 12.30pm that will continue for most of the day. Plans for a search organised by friends tomorrow have been called off to leave the area clear for police.

A UEA spokesperson said: "We are working with police to locate Nick Sadler, a third-year Film and Television Studies student who is currently missing. Anybody who has seen Nick or knows of his current whereabouts should contact Norfolk Police immediately on 101, quoting CAD 22 of Sunday 10 February 2019."
