‘Bished’ nightclub is ‘permanently closed’ after a short 6 month run

It has struggled since owner Ibish Peri died last year

| UPDATED

The relatively new nightclub 'Bished', on Prince of Wales road, has announced its permanent closure.

Whilst there has been no official announcement, the official Facebook page states it as permanently closed under it's opening times.

The venue, which once was known as Roccos, and carried on many of the events Mercy left behind, had many upcoming music events scheduled but many have posted announcements that they have been cancelled or moved to a different location.

Post from an event organisers confirming Bished closing down

It's always a shame to lose another venue in the city, especially in such tragic circumstances, as 'Bished' had a particularly tough start after the nightclub boss Ibish Peri died by suicide in September 2018.

The inquest into his death brought his financial pressures to light which could have ultimately brought the club to a premature closing.
