Norwich South MP Clive Lewis to speak at free Q&A today

The panel will be discussing the refugee crisis

Norwich South MP Clive Lewis has announced that he will feature on a 'Q&A style' panel today (22nd November) to discuss the issues surrounding refugees and migration.

Joining Lewis on the panel are Orwell Prize shortlisted journalist Rachel Shabi, equality Think-Tank director Omar Khan, writer Daniel Trilling, advocate Marchu Girma and refugee campaigner Ahmad Al-Rashid.

The event will take place at The Forum

The event has been organised jointly by UEA's 'Refugee History' and the national humanities festival 'Being Human'. The Q&A comes as part of a series of refugee awareness events called 'Losing and Finding Home: Refugee History, Memory and Culture'.

The Q&A will take place in The Forum from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and is free of charge – perfect for any politically minded students. Those who wish to put forward a question to the panel must submit it to [email protected].
