ShakeAway are opening a milkshake bar in Norwich

Blast that bueno in your blender and take my money

Everyone’s favourite hang out spot from when they were fourteen is coming to Norwich. That’s right, ShakeAway, the world’s largest milkshake company and ultimate tween blast from the past, is opening a store in Norwich next Saturday. The shop will be located on Orford Palace, just off Red Lion Street, so you won’t have to walk too far with a stomach full of ice cream and whizzed up chocolate before getting the bus back to uni.

As well as offering milkshakes with a choice of over 180 add-ins, the store will offer smoothies made to order using fresh ingredients, frozen yoghurts, shaved ice and low-fat fries. But come on, who goes to ShakeAway for anything other than half a pint of liquid calories and sugary joy? The ice-cream can also be swapped for soya ice-cream and milk if you’re vegan or lactose intolerant.

If you’re looking for something a bit gainsier, there will be a large selection of ‘Fit & Healthy’ shakes, which you can add ‘Attitude’ (Protein Powder) to, because it’s bulking season not sulking season, after all.

Look at all that CHOCOLATE

The store will open its doors for the first time on the 17th December at noon. ShakeAway will be giving out free milkshakes to the first 50 people, so be prepared to fight tooth and nail if you want that Snickers shake to be free.

After that, the store will be open daily between 10am and 6pm Monday to Saturday, 11am to 5pm on Sundays and 10am to 8pm for late-night shopping on Thursdays.
