UEA cruises past Manchester and Bristol in new university rankings

Sure, we go to a great uni

In a rankings table that actually isn’t confusing bullshit for once, UEA has risen two places to consolidate our place in the top 20.

The team behind TheCompleteUniversityGuide.co.uk has released its 2016/2017 university league tables this morning and things look promising for us.

The rankings are decided on criteria such as Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Student: Staff Ratio, Spending on Student Facilities and Graduate Prospects to name a few. UEA has enjoyed a steady rise through the rankings since 2014 and now our place as one of the best 20 universities in the country seems more secure than ever.

Though it is not such a great result for our Essex counterparts. They’ve descended an embarrassing six places to 40 this year.

Good building, good university

UEA’s rise in the Complete University Guide comes as a relief after we finished a poor 239th in the QS World University Rankings 2015–16.

For the moment all we can do is enjoy the result and hope it continues onto next year.
