Drama students performed a flashmob in the Hive yesterday

A group of 26 drama students took part in a flashmob in the Hive yesterday.

They performed a rendition of Shadowland from The Lion King. as part of the publicity for Minotaur Theatre Company‘s upcoming production of Cabaret.

The show is being put on this weekend in the UEA Drama Studio opposite the LCR.

Directed by Hannah Winship and Gabrielle Onyett, both third year drama students, the show will cover a large variety songs from different musicals.

The proceeds of the production will be going towards two charities – MIND and The University College Hospital Cancer Fund –  chosen and voted for by the members of Minotaur Theatre Company.

Cabaret is an annual event which raises over £1,000 for its chosen charities each year, and this year they hope to raise even more.

To watch the show, audience members have been asked to make a donation.
