Law fresher dies after ambulance spotted outside Nelson Court

Insaf AbbasLaw fresher Christopher Harris passed away earlier today after an ambulance was seen outside Nelson Court.
In an email sent to students, the Head of Law said: “I am very sad to have to tell you that our first year undergraduate student, Christopher James Patrick Harris, who was resident in Nelson Court, has tragically died.
“We all grieve Christopher’s loss and I know that this will be a difficult time for his friends in the School and the wider University.
“I and all my colleagues – and especially those who taught and advised Christopher – are deeply saddened by his loss.”
Christopher lived in Nelson Court
The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear.
A statement from the University read: “The University is sad to confirm that there has been a death in a student residence on campus.
“Police have been informed and a file will be passed to the coroner in due course. Therefore, it would be inappropriate to comment further.
“We are supporting those affected and anyone with any concerns should contact the Dean of Students’ Office.”
