No more queues! Pimp My Barrow tickets to be sold online

From midday this Sunday

The Union has confirmed that Pimp My Barrow tickets will be sold online this year.

They announced that tickets will go on sale on Sunday 26 April at 12pm, giving students five weeks to prepare their most wacky and wild costumes for the big day.

Chief Executive of the Union Jim Dickinson explained that tickets will be “all online (on a new robust NUS-backed system) so that anyone in an exam or on placement will have access.”

The system will ensure the site doesn’t crash with the high demand expected on the day.

No more of this

Team tickets for up to five people will cost £40, and individual tickets can be bought for £8. Wheelbarrows will also be sold on the website for £28 each.

Last year tickets sold out in just one hour and nine minutes and it’s expected they’ll sell out faster this year.

Tickets will be available on ueastudent.com at 12 noon on Sunday.
