Cyclist injured in accident dies
Police are now appealing for witnesses
Insaf AbbasPolice have confirmed that a cyclist involved in an accident yesterday has died.
The man – now known to have been in his 40s – fell from his bike and collapsed at the traffic lights between Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and Spire Hospital.
Emergency services treated him at the scene for over an hour but could not save him.
Police are now trying to establish the circumstances surrounding his death and have urged anyone who may have seen the cyclist between 2.45pm and 3.15pm to contact them.
