Girl gets locked in library study room

Insaf AbbasAn unlucky student found herself locked in a study room last night.
The girl had to be rescued by security and found fame when pictures of her emerged on the UEA: Spotted on Campus page.
Katy Turner, who helped rescue the girl, said: “I was walking along Floor 01 and she waved at me through the glass door. At first I thought she was just waving so I did that awkward wave you do when you’re not sure who it is… then she was gesturing to the door handle so I went over.
“Me and this other guy tried the handle for ages but it was pretty stuck so I went and got someone from reception who decided it was broken and called security.
“At that point I left as I had work to do and I figured she was in good hands. There was quite a little crowd by then!
“I have no idea how long she’d been in there but I’m glad they finally got her out!”
