BEAUTIFUL BROWS

Holly O’Brien explains how to do the Cara.

As soon as Cara Delevingne came into the limelight, there was no doubt that emulating her eyebrows was on the top of the beauty to do list.

Although her bold and beautiful brows have remained natural and untouched (probably just  touched up with a tiny bit of brow powder), they stand out as the fashion statement of the season.

I’ve accepted that I will never be brow twins with Cara, but here are just a few inexpensive tools and tips you need to keep your brows on top form for A/W 2013/14!

1. A toothbrush. It can be new, or even a dried, used one. This is the perfect shape and size brush to keep your brows neat and to adjust and misplacing of brow powder.

2. Vaseline. Only a very tiny amount, however. You don’t want waxy or sweaty looking brows! Placing a tiny amount on with the toothbrush keeps them in place and looking velvety soft- perfect for the Hollywood glam look. This also works well to keep brow powder or pencil in place 🙂

3. COMMON MISCONCEPTION! You don’t actually need to use powder designed especially for eyebrows- an eye-shadow that looks natural enough will work just as well, and it may be easier to find the perfect colour this way! The Tab recommends everyone’s favourite Urban Decay Naked palette- or if your budget won’t stretch, MUA at Superdrug do a fantastic copy, Heaven and Earth, for just £4.
