Vote for the Best Club in the toon?

It’s no surprise to Geordies that Newcastle is the best city in England.

The party-loving toon is a hot-spot for stag and hen parties flocking from all around the UK, but you certainly don’t need to be dressed in PVC or be carrying around a giant inflatable cock to have a decent night.

In fact back in 2010 we were voted 3rd best in Europe for nightlife, and it’s only got better since then (Bambu shutting down). And we’ve now been voted the UK’s favourite city.

One of the biggest gay clubs in England, it’s also popular with straight guys since they’ve cottoned on that straight girls go there and they’re definitely not getting pulled by the gays.

Rewind on Mondays and PH:UK on Saturdays are definite favourites, and their spinning wheel gives you the chance to get some not half bad drinks offers either.

Perdu

On the notorious ‘Diamond Strip’ Perdu is full of style and substance, and has some pretty good night on during the week.

Social Butterfly on a Monday and Dirtiz on Wednesday’s are always busy, and you’re never normally queuing for long, so your mates won’t know you can’t actually handle the nipple-frosting Newcastle weather like you say you can.

Madame Florita’s House

Three bars in one; Madame Koo, Florita’s and House of Smith are all joined to each other by their doors to bring two of some of the best week nights in town.

Waikiki on a Tuesday and Naked Wednesday’s are hosted by Florita’s and House of Smith. Expect decent door prices, less than decent bar queues, and regular appearances from Geordie Shore.

Tup Tup

A bit more expensive than the others, but those who’ve been know it’s worth it. Remember that time Snoop Dogg paid a visit?

And with countless stories of people getting shagged in the toilets, Tup must be doing something right to get people going. Don’t fancy that? Then head upstairs to TheCUT for the finest in hip-hop.

Digi Mondays? Blacklight? Think Tank? The infamous club in Times Square is usually a smokey warehouse by the time you get in there, and with decent DJs, cheap drinks and entry, and a night everyone’s bound to fancy, it lands Digi up there with the best.
