The iconic Fyre Festival guy is coming to Newcastle SU for a speech and discussion

Hannah WilliamsAndy King, one of the most iconic faces behind Fyre Fest scandal, and the world’s biggest team player, is making an appearance at Newcastle Uni’s Student’ Union next month.
He will be taking part in a “Fyre side chat” on 30th April 2020, with a discussion and question and answer session.
Andy King became a global social media figure and meme after his involvement in the production of Fyre Festival which turned out to be a scam.
Influencers such as Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski promoted the event.
The event information suggests that King is likely to discuss the aftermath of the event and the challenges he had to overcome whilst facing his new found internet viral status.
The talk will start at 6pm, consisting of a 60 minute moderated discussion followed by a 30 minute open Q&A.
