There’s a clothing sale happening at Bar Blanc TODAY and we chatted to the Newcastle student behind it

Get your vintage garms in time for summer

The forces behind the brands Archive and State and Soigné are hosting a pop up shop at Bar Blanc between 3pm and 6pm… TODAY!

It's a chance to celebrate the end of exams with a summer party (there will be a live DJ) whilst also re- stocking your wardrobe.

The featured sellers include Archive Manchester which sells premium vintage and streetwear clothing.

The Newcastle Tab caught up with Newcastle student, Ed Tilleard, about his motivation behind the event. He wants the event to have a fun upbeat vibe and that's why he chose to host it in Blanc.

He said: "we took inspiration from the DePopUp shop run by Amelia but we thought about what the students would want after exams. That's why we organised something in Jesmond, so it was easy for everyone to get to, we wanted it to be like a celebration for exams but also a preparation for summer by allowing students to get unique clothes for festivals!"

He gave us an insight into some of the stores which will be selling at the event and it looks like we're in for a treat! Even better, loads of them are run by your fellow students!
