Aveika

Two courses for £12.95 or three for £14.95 from the set menu – GORG.

Aveika offers a large selection of Japanese dishes with loads of vegan and gluten free options! The setting is really special with an amazing interior and bar area situated right on the Quayside, perfect for a romantic night out. Whilst this year there isn't a separate Valentine's selection to choose from, the set menu is fab value for money. Or you could splash out (with the help of your overdraft) on the huge A La Carte menu!

If you fancy a formal setting for your Valentine's night with bae, The Bridge restaurant in The Vermont is the perfect place to splash the cash! What's more romantic than sipping cocktails and star gazing in Sky Lounge?

Babucho

Two courses for £15 or 3 for £19pp – Fancy but won't break the bank!!

This restaurant offers a sophisticated but cool vibe and is again located next to the stunning Quayside. With a gorgeous selection of dishes and cocktails at £5 Sunday-Friday, this offer is absolute steal!

Chaophraya

Three courses and a glass of fizz for £39.95 per person – SPENNY but worth it.

You may need help from the bank of Mummy and Daddy for this one, but you're in for an absolute treat. This highly popular Thai style restaurant on the top floor of Eldon Square overlooks the busy streets surrounding Monument, boasting an impressive outdoor terrace for a gorgeous dining experience. Whilst you'll be looking down the side of your sofa for pennies for the next few weeks after Valentine's Day, your girlfriend or boyfriend will feel very special after a dinner at Chaophraya. Barluga

Three courses and a glass of bubbly for £29.95 per person – A bit pricey who can turn down complimentary fizz?!

If you'd prefer a juicy steak and discounted wine or prosecco, then Barluga is definitely the place for you. What better way to treat your bf or gf than with cheap alcohol! Half price bottles I don't hear you saying no.

Dinner for two for £20 – cheap date!

Spoons is there for us on every occasion; hungover, stressed, sad and skint. We can't guarantee sparks will be flying over your Spoons dinner, but you sure won't be heading into your overdraft (that's for those of you who aren't already balls deep in it anyway).

The deal includes two mains, two desserts and two drinks all for just £20. If you're not about a posh, formal this Valentine's, head over to The Five Swans, The Mile Castle or The Quayside in Newcastle for a comforting casual meal.

Book your table for the 14th Feb and you'll receive a free glass of bubbly on arrival!

Whilst Las Iguanas aren't offering discounts on food, what's better in the world than free alcohol?

Their Mexican inspired dishes will go down a treat for a spicy Valentine's night out, suitable for all with a huge selection of vegan, gluten free and dairy free options!
