Newcastle is to get Greggs delivery service

Hamish AuskerryGreggs the bakers have today announced the launch of a new delivery service in the North East.
Greggs Delivered has been launched at the Cobalt Business Park in North Tyneside and will then be rolled out to Newcastle City centre in the near future.
This means that from today, the 14,000-plus lucky workforce at the park will be able to order sandwiches, sausage rolls and donuts straight to their office.
The news means that some people’s dreams have literally come true.
Third-year Newcastle student Curtis Gladdon said: “It’s the perfect way to get over Dominos scrapping their 50-off promotion, now I can order 12 sausage rolls instead”.
When the trial moves to Newcastle, customers will be able to create their very own Greggs account.
The trial will eventually include Quorum Business park, London and Manchester city centres.
