Students attacked in Leazes Park
It happened on Saturday night
Hamish AuskerryPolice are appealing for information after three students were violently assaulted in broad daylight in Leazes Park by a gang of youths.
At 7:25pm on Saturday May 14th, three students were walking through the park when they were approached by a group of youths. They spoke to the students for a short while before attacking them.
In a seemingly unprovoked attack, one of the students suffered a suspected broken eye socket and facial injuries as a result of the attack.
Enquiries are ongoing into the incident and anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1027 14/05/16.
