Vintage kilo sale returns to Newcastle

It’s in two weeks

The Vintage Kilo Sale is back in Newcastle on the 15th May at Northumbria’s Student Union.

It was founded in 2009 and now pops up in multiple cities across the UK. There will be thousands of 1970s-1990s vintage items that you can pick and pay just £15 per kilo, which is around 3-5 items.

It is a different way to shop for vintage clothes without spending a fortune, selling both women’s and men’s fashion and accessories from retro tees to denim, and jackets to shorts.

The sale is a good distraction or break from revising for exams or assignments because we all need a bit of retail therapy from time to time.

It is also timed well with the Fashion Revolution Week coming up, which encourages people to think about the ethics of their clothing and how buying second-hand clothes at events can help reduce waste.

Early bird entry is £3 from 11:00am with the general admission fee dropping to only £1.50 from 12pm.
