Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby given three year driving ban

She’s a regular at Tup Tup

One of Newcastle’s most famous locals has been given a three year driving ban after a second drink-driving conviction.

She was caught behind the wheel of her white Range Rover in Newcastle city centre and was more than twice over the legal limit. Charlotte had been convicted for drink driving before in February 2012 and had been disqualified from driving for 18 months.

The 25-year-old, who’s a regular at Bijoux and Tup Tup, has more than 2.7 million Twitter followers and a large fan base. She wanted to launch a career in the US, but this ban will mean she won’t be able to get a visa to the country.

The reality star’s solicitor, Nick Freeman, said: “As a consequence on her court appearance today things are going to change. In August she was due to launch a television career in America. But that now will not happen as she will not get a visa.”

The 25-year-old’s solicitor went on to say she was thoroughly ashamed of her actions: “She would like to apologise to her legions of fans and supporters who she has let down in a huge way.”

The star was also told to pay the court £1,185.
