Gunman wanted a Slice of the profits
Grace TheokritoffAn armed man burst into Slice Master on Mistletoe Road with a gun and threatened the owners on Friday night.
At least seven police cars were at the scene and officers worked to reassure witnesses of their safety.

A witness was heard to say “I wasn’t sure if it was a BB gun or real, he pointed it at him [one of the owners] and shouted ‘get out of the shop”.
Police rushed to the scene, taking statements from eyewitnesses and looking through the CCTV recordings from the incident.
One customer was more concerned over his food though, asking “will I still get my chicken parmo?”

The owners seemed undeterred by the attack and continued serving post-night out food to hungry customers while the police were busy taking details.
Whether this gunman was after money or was just a bit peckish remains unclear.
