Bouncer bust-up round two: fight kicks off in Indigo’s bar

Intoxicated Irishmen instigate fight with bouncers at Indigo – and there’s bloodshed

Newcastle’s no stranger to bouncer confrontations – last year a bouncer body slammed a man outside Idols. Now it’s happening all over again as another bouncer vs. party-goer bust up ensued inside popular Indigo’s bar this weekend.

A crowd gathered as the fight broke out

It was a just a normal Saturday evening at The Gate – until a vicious fight broke out between two irish men and bouncers at Indigo’s.

It began when one man was seen being restrained and dragged out of Indigo’s before breaking free and running back into the bar. Once back inside the heaving venue he was forcefully thrown to the ground, where his head was smashed open.

The bloody floor

And the aftermath was pretty horrific – a huge bloody pool was left on the floor after the attack, much to the disgust of revellers inside the bar.

Punters were shocked by the brutal fight and the police were quickly called, who interviewed the onlookers.

After the fight two of the victim’s friends were seen threatening the bouncers and saying “you’re going down”.

And sickeningly, it looks like the bouncers enjoyed the whole debacle – walking away, one of the bouncers was heard laughing and saying “well that was f***ing funny.”
