How to keep warm this Winter.
Students are a notoriously tight bunch. Our perpetually unhealthy bank balances mean we’re reluctant to splash the cash on expensive heating. Fear not, The Tab has come up with some novel ways of keeping warm without turning up the thermostat.
Wear everything you own
Layers are key. No one cares about fashion when your windows have frozen ON THE INSIDE. Bundle up!
Make good use of your hair dryer
Blow dried pants are just what you need on a frosty Newcastle morning. 3Drink!
What do students love more than saving money? Alcohol! Vodka is cheaper than heating so resort to casual alcholism for winter.
Be a good housemate
Too cold to function? Do some cleaning! Nothing raises your temperature like hoovering. Your housemates will love you and you’ll be toasty in no time.
And finally…Share your bed!
Nothing beats a cosy spoon amongst friends.
