BREAKING: Washing Machine theft in Jesmond
Calgon can’t save this one… washing machine goes AWOL!
On Monday 21st October around the hour of 2am, a washing machine with a large portion of a person’s wardrobe was stolen from a house on Osbourne Avenue.
The washing machine was in a locked back yard due to a new one being fitted as a replacement, after the victims clothes got trapped inside.
It is thought that two or more relatively strong people must have lifted the whole broken washing machine over the wall and on to another location.
Why? This remains to be seen.
The household subject to this random act of crime have tweeted in appeal for their washing machine.
