Someone has been taken to hospital after an ambulance was filmed outside Stopford Building last night.

A video of the ambulance was posted to Fallowfield Students Group just before 8pm last night, prompting many students to panic.

A spokesperson for North West Ambulance service told The Manchester Tab an ambulance was called to Oxford Road last night and “a patient was taken to hospital,” but could not add any more as the address of the incident is private.

This follows a video of an ambulance outside Oak House yesterday. The clip showed a paramedic in a Hazmat suit entering beech court, but the University confirmed that the student in question was “not at risk” of coronavirus.

The full video of the ambulance is on the Tab Manchester Instagram story.

The University of Manchester has been contacted for comment. We will update this article when we know more.
